Frequent Asked Questions
How far in advance should I order?
We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance for celebration cakes, and 2–3 months for wedding cakes or large event catering. Rush orders may be available depending on availability — just ask.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Glen Allen, VA, and serve Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Northern Virginia (including Fairfax, Arlington, and Alexandria). A travel fee may apply for deliveries outside the immediate Richmond area.
Do you offer delivery and setup?
Yes — delivery and professional setup are available for an additional fee based on distance and event size. Let us know your event location and we'll include it in your quote.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We can work with common requests such as egg-free or nut-free options. Please note any allergies or dietary needs when submitting your quote request so we can confirm what's possible for your event.
How much does a custom cake cost?
Pricing depends on size, design complexity, and flavors. Simple celebration cakes typically start around $300, while wedding cakes and dessert tables are quoted based on guest count and design. Submit the quote form for exact pricing.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a deposit is required to secure your date once your order is confirmed. Your order isn't guaranteed until the deposit is received — submitting the quote form is just the first step.
Can I bring in inspiration photos?
Absolutely — the quote form has a place to upload images or link to a Pinterest board, color palette, or theme inspiration.
What's your cancellation/refund policy?
[Link to our Refund Policy] — let customers know the general terms in one sentence, e.g. "Deposits are non-refundable, but rescheduling may be available with advance notice."
